Join Friends of the Riverfront for 2025’s third Train on the Trail Session!

Fourth River Workers Guild will be leading an in-person training session where participants will learn how to identify common native and invasive species along the Three Rivers Heritage Trail as well as proper removal practices, what tools to use, and more! Participants will then have the opportunity to put their new skills to the test and assist Friends of the Riverfront in clearing invasive vegetation along the River Avenue segment of the Three Rivers Heritage Trail.

The 2025 Train on the Trail series will offer enrichment opportunities for volunteers and trail users to gain introductory knowledge and skills that will benefit their trail experience, including native and invasive plants, watercraft safety, tree identification, and more!

An email will be sent the day before the event with details. Email Ashley Martin, Trail Stewardship Program Coordinator, with any questions at ashley@friendsoftheriverfront.org.
