We are looking for volunteers to become a part of our Thriftique team! We find that the best way to start volunteering is to hang and tag clothing, which is a great way to get to know our inventory and a HUGE support to our day to day needs. Generally we ask that volunteers be able to work independently, since we often have a very small staff working.
We are looking for volunteers Tuesday - Friday and shifts need to be at least 2 hours, but volunteers are welcome to stay up to 4 hours. We can take 2 volunteers a shift ( If you have a group that would like to volunteer please let us know as we are always happy to accommodate if we can). Shift options are 10-12pm, 1-3pm, or 3-5pm. Volunteers are encouraged to create a consistent schedule if possible. As volunteers get more familiar with the store and we discover their passions around the items we sell we would love to get more focused. If volunteers would like to come at another time they can email us to coordinate.
We would also like to open up 1 specific volunteer job around home goods. We are looking for someone passionate and willing to learn about home goods in a second hand environment. Ideally this volunteer would commit to 1-2 4 hour shifts a week where they can become our home goods rockstar.
Have a specific skill (artist, graphic design, merchandising) or niche expertise let us know! We are happy to get volunteer support on other areas of the store!
Volunteers receive a $20 voucher for every 8 hours worked (paid out monthly). We provide light snacks.
