What We Do
Reading is FUNdamental (RIF) Pittsburgh’s mission is to provide children with the resources, motivation, and opportunities to develop a life-long love of reading. We specifically work to mitigate the literacy and achievement gaps that disproportionately impact Black youth and children from low-income households even before they start kindergarten.
