What We Do

MISSION: AGAPE’s services are as follows: Open distributions of food at the Agape Center and other access points Delivery of emergency food to homes as needed Concierge service including an intake call to understand the root causes of food insecurity and development of a curated solution (including network of providers) to strengthen each family and move them to self-sustainment Pet food pantry for emergencies and monthly open house distribution Clothing pantry with weekly open house distribution Essential needs pantry (diapers, feminine products, toiletries) for emergency distribution Emergency furniture including Laz-Y-Boy recliners for cancer patients Distribution of food and essential supplies to transition houses and unhoused individuals in Pittsburgh region. We also have on-site food distributions at UPMC Latterman Clinic, First Church of the Open Bible McKeesport, several buildings at the McKeesport Housing Authority, God’s Re-Creation Center in McKeesport, several halfway facilities, the VFW, the Croation Club, and SOY program located within Francis McClure (elementary building within McKeesport School District).
