Tandem bike ride on the GAP trail starting and finishing at West Newton bike shop in West Newton with a hoagie lunch from Subway.
We need sighted folks to ride on the front seat of a bicycle for two with a visually impaired adult riding on the back seat. We also need transportation from the Pittsburgh area to and from the trailhead for the visually impaired bike riders.
Our instructor will be there at 8:30 to get the bikes ready and teach anyone that wants to learn how to be a sighted bike riding companion on a tandem bike.
We will provide the tandems unless you have one or know of one that we can use.
