For nearly 10 years, the Lawrenceville Organic Community Garden has provided a beautiful space for gardening, harvesting, relaxing, and simply, enjoying the outdoors with friendly folks in Upper Lawrenceville. The garden is operated by a group of dedicated volunteers and supported by Lawrenceville United. Volunteers are needed between the months of April to October to maintain the garden and this can be done once, sporadically, or consistently. Work days are Wednesday evenings from 5-7 PM and Saturday mornings from 10 AM-12 PM. The work often takes the form of planting, weeding, harvesting, watering, light clean up of general area, etc. Accommodations can be made based on people's abilities and the garden's needs. Please reach out to Mark Drummond at markdrummond45@gmail.com if you have any questions. The garden is located at 5248 Natrona Way.
All are welcome and encouraged to come enjoy our lovely garden in the heart of Upper Lawrenceville! If you are interested and wish to become a volunteer for this need click on the "Sign Up" or ”Sign Up As Team" button on the upper right corner of this screen.
