We are excited for our warm weather programs to begin, but there is a lot of prep needed. This is an opportunity for people who need volunteer hours, who care about kids, but don't necessarily want to work directly with children.
Our facilities are used for kids from ages 3-18. As a nonprofit, we run programs that are either completely free or very low cost, and we never turn away someone who isn't able to pay. Everything we do - including the salaries of our 2 dedicated employees - depends entirely on grant funding and private donations. Volunteers are the essential people that make it all come together to serve children and teens!
We're looking for volunteers to spend a few hours in our most-used areas. There are shelves of supplies to relocate, floors & tables covered in paint & stickers to be removed, chairs to thoroughly clean, walls to touch up with paint, and similar projects of this nature.
If you cannot stay the entire 4 hour shift, that's fine with us - just please add a note to your sign up so we can prepare.
