Prepare fields for the Boys & Girls Club's flag football league! Volunteers will prep the field by painting lines and and complete other outside maintenance work. Additional tasks will include updating their Carnegie Clubhouse.
Waiver: All volunteers must complete the volunteer waiver upon registering - click here to access (opens in a new window).
What to Wear: DSG shirts will be provided, but please arrive wearing comfortable, casual clothing that can get dirty and/or painted. Volunteers must wear closed-toe shoes that they can easily move around in (sneakers or light boots). Project will be outdoors - sun protection is strongly suggested. An alternative rain date TBD.
What to Bring: Refreshments and lunch will be provided, but a reusable water bottle may be handy. We also recommend bringing a light backpack or drawstring bag so you may work "hands-free" if you do not want to leave belongings in your car or on the property.
About the Boys & Girls Club of Western PA: The Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Pennsylvania (BGCWPA) was established in 1888 to activate the potential of youth and this mission continues to be as important now as it ever was. Providing safe places, mentors, and programs has always been the core model, but how it is delivered has evolved over time as the need and conditions have changed. BGCWPA prides itself on the ability to respond and adapt to ensure we remain resilient, sustainable, and innovative as it is our responsibility that we are always prepared to deliver our commitment to the children and families throughout Greater Pittsburgh.
