Chatham Baroque is a nonprofit arts organization seeking outgoing and cheerful volunteers in support of its Box Office and Usher functions for performances.
Box Office volunteers will greet and welcome audience members, scan tickets and check in ticket holders, sell tickets on ShowClix (our ticketing platform), and hand out program books. Volunteers must be able to handle a fast-paced transactional environment immediately prior to show time.
Usher volunteers will greet and welcome audience members to performances, check with each ticket holder that they have checked in with the Box Office, and answer basic questions about the venue (bathrooms, drinking fountains, and seating), as well as about the concert (intermission and performance run times). Volunteers must be able to handle a fast-paced environment immediately prior to show time.
Volunteer shifts for each concert are approximately 1 1/2 hours prior to curtain (concert start time).
