The Parent Place Community Resource Center, Save a Life Today Pittsburgh, and several other organizations are coming together to provide for families in need!
A huge event is happening at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center on Saturday, Dec. 20th, and more volunteers are needed because OVER 1,000 CHILDREN (ages 0-17) will be present!
We need people who are warm & personable & PATIENT. You will be helping families get gifts, bikes, books, coats, and more - providing directions, guidance from station to station, taking them to their cars, etc. These families have been experiencing a lot of stress in so many ways, and your patient kindness will go a long way - so bring that joyous Holiday Spirit!
You can sign up for the whole day or serve in shifts. Be prepared for a festive time, but also the potential for crowded areas and fluctuating temperatures as you may be moving around a lot. Thank you!
