Join us for our monthly Open Volunteer Saturday at Hilltop Urban Farm!
These morning workdays are a hands-on way to support local food access and community growing in the Hilltop neighborhoods. Volunteers assist with seasonal tasks like planting, harvesting, weeding, mulching, orchard care, light construction, and general site projects.
No experience required — just closed-toe shoes and clothes you can get dirty. We provide the tools and training! Tap water, Gatorade, and light snacks are provided.

| Inclement Weather Plan: Hilltop Urban Farm operates rain or shine March through November, including Volunteer Saturdays. Our region’s forecast can change quickly, so we typically plan to gather even if rain is in the forecast. We will cancel at least 24 hours in advance if temperatures during volunteer hours (9am–12pm) are forecasted to be below 32°F or above 85°F, if there is a 70% or greater chance of severe thunderstorms, or if air quality is poor. (We do not have adequate shelter during active storms beyond personal vehicles.) If you’re registered, we’ll do our best to contact you directly, and updates will also be posted on our website and Instagram. Otherwise — including rain — we’ll be out there, and we hope you’ll join us! | |
