For over 10 years, the Lawrenceville Organic Community Garden has provided a beautiful space for all to access in Upper Lawrenceville for gardening, harvesting, relaxing, and simply enjoying the outdoors with friendly folks. The garden is operated by a group of dedicated volunteers and supported by Lawrenceville Corporation.
Volunteers are needed from April to November to maintain the garden, either once, sporadically, or consistently. Work days are Wednesday evenings from 5-7 PM and Saturday mornings from 10 AM-12 PM. The work often takes the form of planting, weeding, harvesting, watering, light clean-up of the general area, etc. Accommodations can be made based on people's abilities and the garden's needs.
Please reach out to Mark Drummond at markdrummond45@gmail.com if you are interested in attending a work day to ensure the group will be present. The garden is located at 5248 Natrona Way.
