Join us at the Sewickley Launch on the Ohio River section of the Three Rivers Water Trail for a river-based Water Trail Care Thursday opportunity! Volunteers will: Registration is limited to 12 participants total; if you have your own vessel (kayak or canoe), we encourage you to bring it. We have 12 available seats in the Friends fleet in a kayak or canoe for those that do not have their own. Previous paddling experience recommended. If you are a beginner or have never paddled before, please email Ashley Martin at ashley@friendsoftheriverfront.org and we can discuss! Please wear sturdy close-toed shoes, long pants, and layered sleeves to be removed. Monitor the forecast and dress for the weather, we will work through light to moderate rain. Bring a reusable water bottle, water refills will be available. All other project supplies and equipment will be provided. Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email. An additional email will be sent the day prior to the workday with project details and what to expect; registration after 12:00 pm will not receive the details email.
