As the pandemic persists, retirement home residents continue to face isolation. To bring cheer to these seniors, Brighten A Day Foundation is collecting and distributing uplifting cards and letters. You can help us get every senior a card or letter! People of all ages are encouraged to volunteer. (Group activities encouraged!) Once you sign up through our website (https://www.brighten-a-day.org), we will send guidelines and an address to which the cards can be mailed.
Are you looking for a way to make a difference from home? You can reach out to our isolated senior population. Many older adults are feeling lonely, isolated, and bored while they can't see their loved ones. You can remind the seniors that they are not alone by making uplifting cards or writing cheerful letters.
