Located in the heart of Bloomfield in Pittsburgh, PA, the Bloomfield Saturday Market is a farmer’s market that takes place from May through November. The market emphasizes locally grown, produced, and created items. You’ll find produce, cheese, meat, coffee, hummus, prepared hot and cold foods, and so much more! Arrival (no later than 8am):
- We are located at 5050 Liberty Ave (the parking lot between S Winebiddle St and Gross St). When you arrive, check in with Julia at the yellow info tent on the Gross St side, or give her a call at 201-937-0676 if you have any trouble finding us.
- There will be about 30-45 minutes of set-up involved (setting up canopy tents, feather flags, and picnic tables, etc.). We'll explain what you will need to know about the market, and what you can expect the day to look like.
- You will then be assigned your post/task for the day!
Tasks include:
- Greeting and counting people at each entrance/exit of the market
- Helping pedestrians cross the intersection at Liberty + S Winebiddle
- Assisting market staff with credit card and EBT transactions
- Breaking down the tents, flags, tables, signs, and everything else we've set up at the beginning of the day
