Join us for a great experience working on Pittsburgh's largest urban farm, which features a Youth Farm & Orchard, a Farmer Incubation Program, and a larger Orchard.
Volunteers will be helping to dig holes for and plant blueberry bushes, install silage tarps, and take down / clear out vegetation from raised garden beds from the past growing season. Volunteers may also expect to perform weeding, watering, removing rock and rubble while clearing the land, and possibly more.
Please wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes and we'd recommend dressing in layers for the weather - we are rain or shine! Please also bring your own water bottle. Snacks provided. Parking available on the property.
