Little Amal is a 12-foot puppet of a 10-year-old Syrian refugee girl who has traveled across 13 countries meeting more than a million people. This fall, between 7 September and 5 November 2023, she will journey 6,000 miles across the United States in one of the largest free public festivals ever created-- and will be visiting Pittsburgh September 20-21.

Performance company RealTime Arts is hosting an audience-interactive Welcoming Performance in Swissvale at 6:30 PM on Wednesday, September 20, and we need volunteers to prepare for and facilitate the performance!
Volunteers will be asked to attend 1-2 evening rehearsals to be scheduled 9/18-9/19, and then attend the performance on Wed, Sept 20, arriving at 5:30 PM. The performance ends at 8 PM-- and you'll be a part of it!
