PAAR’s mission is to respond to those impacted by sexual violence through advocacy, education and healing. Our volunteers have a key role in ensuring this support is available to the community by providing crisis support to survivors and their families via the Helpline. Shifts are available 24/7/365 and are done remotely after completing the state-required 40 hours of Sexual Assault Counselor training. PAAR’s volunteers:

While our volunteers come from a wide range of backgrounds and expertise, people interested in pursuing counseling, social work, nursing and/or advocacy careers find the SAC training and volunteer opportunities to be particularly informative. |
