Join us at the Josh Gibson Baseball Academy Summer Camp where volunteers will be participating in a number of projects - some of which may include directly interacting with the youth campers for a special field day full of activities!

What to Wear: Please wear comfortable, casual clothing that can get dirty. It is highly recommended that volunteers wear closed-toe shoes that they can easily move around in (sneakers or light boots, for example). Project is mostly outdoors - sun and/or rain protection is also suggested.
What to Bring: Refreshments and lunch will be provided, but a reusable water bottle may be handy. We also recommend bringing a light backpack or drawstring bag so you may work "hands-free" if you do not want to leave belongings in your car or on the property.
About the Josh Gibson Foundation: The goal of the foundation is to provide the type of access that Josh Gibson never enjoyed with the creation of facilities and baseball fields dedicated to the youth of the Pittsburgh community.
